GEO Semiconductor will debut its latest camera video processor (CVP) products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) in Las Vegas where the GW5200 and GW5400 will be demonstrated for the first time.

The GW5 Showcase will demonstrate the GW5200’s advanced high dynamic range (HDR) processing, our next generation HDR ISP that can support up to 8 MP image sensors, 5th generation patented eWARP® geometric processor, and advanced vector graphics engine. The GW5200 will be shown operating with a variety of image sensors proving it is ready to be designed into cameras today with the sensor of your choice.

GEO will also provide a peek into the future with a demonstration of the GW5400 and its state-of-the-art computer vision capabilities that will power advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as smart rearview cameras that can detect pedestrians and objects and AutoCAL® to correct camera misalignment.

The GEO Application Showcase will highlight how GEO technology is raising the bar for the next generation of backup cameras and enabling automotive cameras for e-mirrors, surround view, and driver monitoring. We will also be showing how GEO’s growing portfolio of CVPs is being applied to a wide variety of consumer applications such as security cameras, 360°cameras, doorbell cameras, augmented reality, video conferencing, police body cameras, robots and head-up displays.
